MORETONHAMPSTEAD Parish Council is consulting the community about possibly taking over the management of local public toilets.
The move follows Teignbridge District Council’s possible ceasing of funding from March 2027.
If no other organisation takes over, the toilets on Court Street could close.
As such, Moretonhampstead Parish Council is exploring whether it could manage and fund the toilets, but it first wants input from the community.
The council said: ‘Your feedback will help us understand how important these facilities are to residents, visitors, and local businesses, and guide our decisions about the future.
‘Please take a few minutes to share your views and help us plan ahead’.
