A TEIGNMOUTH good samaritan is furious after being given a parking ticket while visiting and assisting a severely disabled woman.

Christine Gribble was booked by a private enforcement company on Teign Housing land, despite displaying an official badge which she believed allowed her to park at Bitton Court.

'I had no idea it did not cover the residents' only area, which was not clearly marked anyway.

'If I had parked anywhere else on the driveway, it would have caused an obstruction to large vehicles trying to get past.
