IT'S been a great start to 2023 for the fundraising team at Teignmouth RNLI.

Teignmouth RNLI Fundraising Team received a cheque of £3,490 from the Chagford Agricultural show committee from their 2022 show, held in August 2022. The RNLI were the chosen charity for the 2022 event.

Adrian Knowles Chairman of the Teignmouth RNLI Fundrasing Team extended a ‘A massive thank you to the show for their generosity’ wishing them the ‘best of luck for this year’s show’ taking place on Thursday August 17.

On Saturday, February 25 a Fish & Chip supper was held at Stokeinteignhead village hall, where another fabulous performance from Teignmouth’s Back Beach Boyz created a fantastic atmosphere, with everyone having a wonderful time and over £500 raised for the RNLI.

The fundraising committee for Teignmouth RNLI have extended their thanks to Judy Barnes for organising the event, and the Back Beach Boyz for their continued support of Teignmouth RNLI.

Finally, the RNLI and the Co-op have joined forces, the new initiative means that whenever people shop in the Co-op they can sign up to help raise funds for the RNLI by nominating them as their chosen charity.

A percentage of every £ spent will go to the RNLI. This will directly support our water safety/ education work.
