A PROLIFIC Dawlish shoplifter has been jailed for numerous offences in the town.

Ross Norman, from Dawlish, was sentenced to 42 weeks in prison for seven counts of shoplifting with a further 15 offences of theft taken into consideration.

He was also fine £154 by magistrates.

Norman was arrested by police acting on a warrant in relation to ‘numerous’ shoplifting offences in Dawlish over the weekend. 

He was questions and charged and appeared in court on Monday.
