NEW volunteers are needed to help run Exminster’s Victory Hall.

Organisers of the hall, which has running for more than 100 years, are appealing for help to fill vacancies.

The hall’s annual general meeting is on Thursday May 15 at 7pm and it’s hoped more volunteers will come forward.

A spokesman said: ‘We need your help.

‘We are currently a team of seven trustees who volunteer their time and expertise free of charge.

‘Due to personal circumstances, we have vacancies to fill, and need support of the community to help keep this valuable resource going.

'If you have skills, energy and a community spirit, we would be very grateful for new volunteers to help keep this valuable resource going.’

The hall is used by local clubs, fitness classes, and societies, educational bodies and individuals.
