LIVE events such as opera, drama, ballet, sport and music concerts could be streamed into the new Teignmouth Carlton Pavilion complex.

Some could also be shown on a large outdoor screen on the Den, with people enjoying picnics.

But it all depends on a successful bid for an extra £850,000 to add to the £4.3 million already earmarked for the prominent seafront site.

If the cash from the Arts Council of England is approved, it will enable a Simulcast system to be installed which will show a varied range of events from all over the country.
