FIREFIGHTERS from Chagford were called to the assistance of a trapped cow last night (Wednesday, April 21).
Crews attended the incident at Lower Withecombe at 8.30pm and used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the stuck bovine from farm machinery it had become entangled with.
The animal was left in the hands of the farmer.
