Following the Christmas break from league fixtures, the competitive matches resumed in the Albany Florists South Devon & Torbay Table Tennis League with the first round of the Dyment Doubles Handicap matches.

Shield holders Torbay Academy 1 had a comfortable 5-0 win over NA Kites. A much closer match between Division Four side Dawlish Dodgers and Division One’s Torbay Academy 2 resulted in a 5-4 win for the Academy – Matt Cooper and Daniel Webster-Hall defeating Adrian Tee and Brian Hemmings in the deciding set.
