WHAT a weekend of rugby that awaits us at Teignmouth Rugby Club this weekend. Women's rugby will be showcased in a tournament on Good Friday with the Estuary Cup.
This will be closely followed on Easter Saturday with the men in action in the Big Decider: the third and final contest for the Coronation Cup.
Two years ago, Dawlish members from the club laid down the challenge to their Teignmouth-based teammates.
Current and ex-players from each town would take part in the Parson and Clerk Challenge for the Coronation Cup. Initially planned to celebrate the Coronation weekend, and to help boost the covid-depleted coffers of the club, it was so successful that a repeat was demanded, particularly when the challengers won.
Teignmouth got their revenge last year in another closely fought contest so who will win the final game?

Local traders from Dawlish are flying the flag in support of their boys.....Pride is on the line!
The Coronation Cup kicks off at 5pm, and this will be preceded by a Touch Rugby Tournament between 1.30-3.30pm, with the ongoing beer festival and live music to add to the entertainment.
