Haldon Trail Runners competed in several races last week, with two competing in the Exeter half marathon on different days.

The 13.1-mile event, which starts and finishes at Exeter Quay, is held on both Saturday and Sunday.

Alex Crump took part in Saturday’s race, finishing 32nd in a time of 1.27.52, with Martin McEneny racing on Sunday and finishing 17th in 1.30.22.

Mark Flynn took part in the Hestercombe Humdinger half marathon on Sunday, coming home 35th in 1.38.19.

On Saturday, two members of the off-road club ran in two different parkrun 5k races. Matt Menary won the Killerton event by more than a minute in a time of 19.21, while in Hereford, Vikki Thompson fifth overall and first woman home in 20.46.

That came after Thompson competed in the half marathon at the south Devon leg of the Coastal Trail Series the previous weekend, finishing 54th in 2.23.07.
