In the Teignbridge Netball League, division two strugglers TTNC Sapphires gifted table - topping High Hopes five points after they failed to raise a side.

l Dolly Mixtures D remain seven points behind High Hopes after beating club-mates Dollies M 29-12 after being 16-3 ahead at half-time.

Players of the match were Kylie Walker (Dollies D) and Rebecca Robinson (Dollies M).

l Good shooting from their player of the match, Chrissy Everitt, resulted in Chudleigh Cannons chalking-up their fourth win of the season, beating bottom side NA Dodgers Purple 27-7.

Player of the match for Dodgers was Tanya Manley.

l It was honours even when ARA Abbots and Denbury Devils squared-up, the game ending in a 27-27 draw.

Goals from Devils’ player of the match Emily Duncan had them 14-12 ahead at half-time, but Abbots’ star performer Katie Green’s accurate shooting got her side level by the final whistle.
