A WOMAN had to be cut from a car which ended up on its side after a crash at Starcross this morning, Tuesday.
Fire appliances from Middlemoor and Danes Castle were sent to deal with the crash shortly after 9am
A Fire Control spokesperson said: ‘On arrival, crews confirmed one small vehicle was on its side after colliding with a couple of parked cars.
‘One casualty was physically trapped within the vehicle, crews got to work with Hydraulic Rescue Equipment and Stabilisation Equipment to help extricate the female from the vehicle.
‘The casualty is now in the safe hands of the paramedics and being conveyed to hospital.
‘These are the full and final details.’
