POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision near Dawlish that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to Colley Lane at around 7.05am on Monday, June 1, following a collision involving a white Ford Transit van and a black Honda motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The driver of the van was uninjured.
Officers, paramedics and other emergency personnel attended the scene, with Colley Lane closed for several hours while an investigation was carried out. The road reopened at approximately 11.30am.
Devon & Cornwall Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
