SOME Households in Newton Abbot were left without water today after a water main burst.

With more houses suffering from low water pressure, it was claimed that the pipe in Wolborough Street, Newton Abbot was damaged by a third party and affected 28 properties.

The emergency was reported around 2.15 pm and South West Water workman were expected to complete repairs by ‘the early evening’.
