VILLAGERS in Mamhead are busy gearing up for their weekend Coronation Big Lunch.
The village hall now boasts a brand new flag bought in honour of the occasion.
Sunday’s celebrations will be the Big Lunch which starts from 1pm.
Villagers can taken their own lunch and there will be drinks and cakes available to buy.
Two competitions will be running during the afternoon.
A cake competition is open to adults and children with categories for the best children’s cake, most creative and most humorous.
There will also be a crown making competition with prizes for best adult and best children’s entries.
Events at the hall in Stud Hill will run until 6pm.
