A VIGIL is being held in Dawlish tonight in support of all those working to provide humanitarian aid.

Organised by the Christians Together for Dawlish and District, the vigil is an opportunity for people to join to ‘pray for all involved in providing humanitarian aid and working for peace’.

The Waves of Hope event is an informal gathering at the viaduct at 6.30pm tonight.

The gathering is expected to last 20 to 30 minutes, and anyone joining in is invited to bring a reading or prayer if they wish.
