A LORRY has crashed into the central reservation of the A38 this evening, Wednesday, causing two miles of congestion eastbound.
National Highways South West has tweeted that lane 2 of 2 is closed on the A38 eastbound between the B344 (Chudleigh) and the A380 (Splatford Split).
This is ‘following a collision involving a lorry colliding with the central reservation barrier.
‘There are two miles of congestion on the approach so allow extra time if in the area.’
Later in the evening National Highways South West reported: 'A lane closure will be in place again later this evening for permanent barrier repairs.
'Delays clearing well in the area.'
