Teignbridge's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A38, from 8pm December 8 to 4am December 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh Station to Harcombe - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.

A38, from 8pm December 9 to 6am December 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Drumbridges to Chudleigh - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.

A38, from 8pm December 15 to 4am December 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Belvedere exit slip road closed for signage works. Diversion via A38 westbound to Harcombe Cross and return to exit.

A30, from 8pm December 16 to 4am December 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington - lane closure for signage works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
