A TEIGNMOUTH NHS worker features on tonight’s Extraordinary Portraits TV programme celebrating the 75th anniversary of the NHS.

Porter Holly Crawshaw, 43, is the subject of the BBC1 show which is broadcast tonight at 7pm.

Her portrait was painted by award-winning artist Mark Draisey for the project which features a series of specially-commissioned portraits of health workers.

Tonight’s programme is presented by comedian, actor, musician and author Bill Bailey.

Holly applied to work for the NHS when she was furloughed from her career in hospitality during the pandemic and after her daughter Renae was successfully treated for a brain tumour at the age of eight.
