IT'S not everyday you catch a glimpse of a seal, much less when frequenting a town's quay, but today was one of those days in Newton Abbot.

Director of a Bite to Eat Mobile Catering, Abbi Sage, caught a glimpse of the creature earlier today, Wednesday, August 30, posting to her businesses Facebook page saying: 'Our resident seal showed up and caught us by surprise.

'You just never know what you'll see down here at The Town Quay' she added.
