Teignbridge's motorists will have 13 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A38, from 7pm October 16 to 6am December 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay to Goodstone lane closure for S278, junction improvement works. Minor local authority, junction closed, eastbound, traffic diverted via Goodstone junction. Westbound, traffic diverted via A38 westbound to Linhay and return to Goodstone to exit.
And a further 12 closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A38, from 7pm December 4 to 6am December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Drumbridges lane closure for drainage works.
• A38, from 8pm December 5 to 4am December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Harcombe lane closure for barrier repairs.
• A30, from 8pm December 6 to 6am December 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Woodleigh to Fingle Gen - lane closure for structure maintenance works.
• A30, from 8pm December 6 to 6am December 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Woodleigh slip road closed for structure maintenance works. Diversion via A30 eastbound to Alphington and return to exit.
• A38, from 7pm December 7 to 6am December 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 westbound, Dartbridge lane closure for structure maintenance.
• A38, from 8pm December 8 to 4am December 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 westbound, Kennford exit slip road closure for drainage. Diversion via A38, exit at Chudleigh and return via A38, exit at Haldon Hill, A380 to Kennford.
• A38, from 7pm December 11 to 6am December 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Clay Lane exit slip road closed for carriageway surfacing works. Diversion via A38 eastbound to Chudleigh Station and B3193.
• A30, from 8pm December 11 to 6am December 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Fingle Glen to Ide lane closures for structure maintenance.
• A30, from 8pm December 11 to 5am December 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 30 to junction 31 lane closures for electrical works.
• A30, from 9.30am December 12 to 3.30pm December 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen lane closure for technology works.
• A38, from 8pm December 14 to 6am December 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Linhay junction, Ashburton to Goodstone lane closures and convoy working for National Grid works, .
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
