Teignbridge's motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 10 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A38, from 9pm September 15 to 6am September 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Dartbridge exit and entry slip roads closed for survey works, exit diversion via A38 westbound, exit at Lower Dean, B3380 eastbound to Dartbridge. Entry diversion via A38 eastbound to Peartree and return.
• A38, from 9pm September 16 to 6am September 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Dartbridge to Marley Head carriageway closure for surveys, diversion via - A384, A385 and rejoin A38, Lower Dean entry slip diversion via - Plymouth Road, Strode Road, A384, A385 and rejoin A38, Rattery entry slip diversion via - A38 eastbound, A384, A385 and rejoin A38.
• A38, from 7pm September 18 to 6am September 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Bickington to Linhay lane closure and convoy for carriageway reconstruction/renewal works.
• A38, from 7pm September 19 to 6am September 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Chudleigh exit slip closure for carriageway reconstruction/renewal works, diversion via - A38 west to Drumbridges and return.
• A38, from 7pm September 19 to 6am September 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Splatford Split to Wobbly Wheel lane closure for carriageway reconstruction/renewal works.
• A38, from 7pm September 22 to 6am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Goodstone to Linhay - lane closure for horticultural works.
• A38, from 7pm September 23 to 6am September 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone to Drumbridges - lane closure for horticultural works.
• A38, from 7pm September 24 to 6am September 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Splatford Split - lane closure for horticultural works.
• A38, from 7pm September 25 to 6am September 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Harcombe Cross to Belvedere - lane closure for horticultural works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
