CROWDS flooded to the annual extravaganza that is Ogwell Summer Fair last Saturday.

The event, which was opened by singer-songwriter James Kirby, featured a host of activities to keep everyone happy including a classic car show, well-attended dog, special bubbles courtesy of Happy Bubbles and the Ogwell Olympic show.

‘It was certainly a record turnout this year, boosted no doubt by the fantastic weather,’ said retiring chair Jason Larkworthy.

‘James very kindly did two musical sets on the day and we also had had the young singers from Canada Hill Choir singing entaining the crowds.

'We have to thank everyone who turned out to help either by running a store, donating prizes and setting up, plus of course everybody who turned up there droves to support the event.’

Funds raised are still being counted and monies raised will go towards local community organisations.
