POLICE were called to reports of a group of men fighting outside a barber shop in Dawlish on Monday afternoon.

Devon & Cornwall Police said officers attended at around 2.10pm on July 20 after receiving a report of an altercation involving several men.

The incident reportedly began after a car arrived in Dawlish and a group of men got out, before becoming involved in an altercation with another group of men.

Officers searched the area and made enquiries, but no victims or injured parties came forward to speak with police.

As a result, no further action is currently being taken.

Police confirmed that the matter will now be filed unless new evidence or information comes to light.
