A PIE and paella evening is being organised to raise funds for the upkeep of an 800-year-old village church.

It will be held in All Saints Church, Combeinteignhead, on Friday, February 16, and is sponsored by villagers Carole and Derek Ambridge.

Professional pianists Katerina and Lee Shetliffe will be playing a mixture of classical, modern and sing-a-long songs on the recently tuned piano. Singer Steve Wreford will also make a guest appearance.
