POSTIE Nick Moyes has beaten off thousands of other postal delivery workers to take the title of National Postie of the Year.
Nick, who has been a postman for 31 years and covers the village of Holcombe, was nominated for the award thanks to his customers.
A performance app rated his parcel deliveries and he achieved a perfect score.
His outstanding achievement saw him go 600 days delivering every parcel.
He said: ‘I try to make sure everyone gets their parcels.
‘I am lucky in Holcombe, everyone knows everyone and they are more than willing to take in a neighbour’s parcel.
‘There are a lot of hard-working posties out there.
‘And I get paid to go for a walk.’

Nick’s delivery record led to his local manager nominating him for the award.
All nominees went to a Royal Mail panel from which five finalists were chosen.
Nick and his wife Charlotte were invited to the awards ceremony which was held in Covent Garden.
He said: ‘The event was brilliant, all the food and hotel were paid for and we received welcome gift bags.
‘They made everyone there feel extra special.’
On winning, Nick received a trophy, bottle of Moet and Chandon champagne and gift vouchers.
Nick, who started work at 6.24am every day, has now been asked to take part in a new podcast with a postie by Royal Mail.
His delighted customers in Holcombe have described him as ‘always helpful, cheerful and obliging’.
However, that’s not all Nick is celebrating.
He is currently coach and manager of Dawlish Utd football club which is enjoying a very successful season so far and is one of the biggest clubs in Devon.
