PLANS to convert a former Chinese takeaway in Kingskerswell into an office have been approved
Submitted by local construction company, Charteroak, the application - reference 25/01984/FUL - sought permission to convert Chan’s Takeaway.
Charteroak intend to carry out extensive refurbishment work, creating an office space at the Torquay Road premises.
And Teignbridge Council have granted planning permission.
‘The development hereby permitted shall begin no later than the expiry of three years from the date of this decision’, the council said.
Charteroak was formed in 2016 to ‘provide a complete design, manage, build and maintenance solution across the South West’, the company’s website says.
Originally based in Newton Abbot, the company purchased a commercial property in Kingskerswell three years later, giving it a new permanent base.
