AS Teignbridge’s biggest summer music event gets ever closer, BBC Radio 1 has revealed more acts for its Big Weekend.

Last night DJs Annie Mac and Huw Stephens announced the line-up for the BBC Introducing Stage at Powderham Castle on May 28 and 29.

Artists including The Hunna, Emmi, Black Foxxes and Declan McKenna, will perform alongside returning acts Rosie Lowe, Blossoms, Spring King and Izzy Bizu at the event.

The introducing stage will showcase performances from the best emerging talent across the UK.

On Saturday, Barns Courtney, Cortes Ideclan, Declan Mckenna, Jealous of The Birds, Louis Berry, Reuel Elijah, Rosie Lowe, Shannon Saunders, Spring King, The Hunna, Tiny Folds and Wolfie will be gracing the stage.

And on the final day of Europe’s biggest free ticketed event, Alice Jemima, BB Diamond, Black Foxxes, Blossoms, Catholic Action, Emmi, Izzy Bizu, James Cherry, Kyko, Tobi Sunmola and Vital Iyonaka will be playing.

DJ Huw Stephens said: ‘The line-up for the BBC Introducing Stage is incredible once again.

‘If you want to see some incredible new music, we have got you covered.’

The flagship music spectacle will feature three stages - The Main Stage, In New Music We Trust Stage and the BBC Introducing Stage - and will host more than 50 of the biggest and freshest UK and international acts.

The Big Weekend will be broadcast live on Radio 1 with all performances available to watch on BBC Radio 1’s iPlayer and the headline acts will be broadcast on BBC Four.
