The widow of former Teignmouth RNLI volunteer Andy Burry has raised more than £2,000 for the lifeboat charity from a walk in memory of her late husband.

Andy died suddenly of heart disease, aged just 59, in July 2024. He was a volunteer launch authority at Teignmouth RNLI and had served with the Royal Navy for 38 years.

Charlotte carried out her memorial walk on the second anniversary of his death, July 15, and raised £2,107.43 through JustGiving donations and bucket collections along the way. She did the same walk on the same date last year.

She‘s planning another walk from RNLI Torbay to RNLI Teignmouth in August, again to raise money for the RNLI.
