A MAN who has denied two charges of assaulting a woman has been banned from entering Devon save for a trial or to see his solicitors.

Wlifred Wambagu, aged 32, of Ram Passage, Kingston upon Thames, has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman in Newton Abbot by beating her on December 13, 2021, and that between November 1, 2020, and October 3, 2021, he assaulted a woman in Newton Abbot, causing her actual bodily harm. He was bailed by South and West Devon Magistrates’ Court to attend court on June 6.
