FOLLOWING a domestic violence incident in Newton Abbot a man has been fined £225.

Timothy Paul Frost, aged 41, of Foxhole Road, Paignton, changed his plea to guilty on a charge of assaulting a woman, causing her actual bodily harm, in the Newton Abbot area.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court made a community order with the requirement he takes part for 29 days and a Building Better Relationships Rehabilitation Activity Requirement which he must take part in for up to 15 days.

Frost must also pay compensation of £300 to the victim and £95 to fund victim services.

The court described it as a ‘domestic violence case’.
