FIREFIGHTERS from Bovey Tracey were called in to help cut a man free from the wreckage of his car which had crashed on the M5.
The incident happened on Tuesday morning . The car was on the central reservation with a man was unconscious inside.
The casualty, who was suffering from suspected back injuries, was freed from the wreckage by fire crews using hydraulic cutting equipment.
The accident happened just after 5am on Tuesday between junction 30 and 31.
