AN ANCIENT tradition is almost here.

It is, of course, Kingsteignton’s beating the bounds.

The event involves walking the boundaries of the Kingsteignton parish: this event only takes place every seven years.

The first half of the walk takes place on Saturday, August 6.

Departing from The Ten Tors pub at 9am, prospective boundary beaters will head along a more than eight mile long route to The Passage House.

The second half of the walk takes place on Saturday, August 13, with walkers setting off from The Passage House at 9am for the finish at The Sandygate Inn.
