A collision involving a bus and a tree is causing traffic disruption on Teignmouth Road this morning.

The incident occurred near Coombesend Road and was first reported just after 11am.

The eastbound carriageway is blocked, with traffic queuing along the A381.

Local road closures have been put in place to allow for the bus to be recovered.

Emergency services attended the scene and no serious injuries have been reported, Devon and Cornwall Police have said.

The driver has been reported for driving without due care and attention, the force added.
