Residents and staff of Tracey House Retirement Home are taken up the 100 Challenge inspired by Captain Tom Moore and his family.
This week they have been walking laps of the home in Bovey Tracey. Each lap is 0.2 miles, and they are aiming for a minimum of 100 laps or a maximum of 100 miles – which needs to be 500 laps.
The laps will be individually tailored to each resident according to their mobility and stops to rest will be allowed! For some an armchair activity will be devised in replacement for the laps in the garden.
The chosen charity is Homeless in Teignbridge Support and a link can be found on their Facebook page for anyone wanting to support them in their endeavours.
