LOCAL artist Helen Garnsworthy was busy adding the Royal flare to a number of businesses shop fronts and a beloved Newton Abbot sandwich shop was chief among them.

Eagle-eyed passersby will have spotted Helen’s handy work in the shop front window of The Filling Station, a family run bap and baguette bar, which is located along Union Street, Newton Abbot.

At present the beloved sandwich shop, which is headed up by mother and son team Drew and Jenny, sports bunting, flags and a Royal Corgi with sausages aplenty in the front window.

The time may soon be upon us, however, when the display will disappear – so catch it while you can!
