A DARTMOOR village will come alive next month as its annual garden show and craft festival brings together residents and visitors for a weekend celebrating local creativity, gardening and community spirit.

Hennock and Teign Village Garden Show & Craft Festival takes place on Saturday, September 12, from 1pm to 5pm and Sunday, September 13, from 11am to 4.30pm, across Hennock Village Hall, St Mary’s Church and Hennock Primary School.

Visitors can enjoy garden and handicraft exhibitions, craft demonstrations and workshops, music and performances from the school choir, as well as cream teas and homemade cakes.

The school will showcase children’s artwork under the theme ‘Rooted in Hennock’, while a local history exhibition will explore the village’s past.

Visitors can also see the school’s new playground and browse a range of craft stalls.
