THE Mid-Devon Darts League was sad to hear news of the passing of former league chairman and committee member Geoff Brown.
Brown, pictured, joined the committee in July 1997, becoming chairman for the 1999-2000 season.
He loved his darts, euchre and golf, and he stayed on the committee until the end of the 2015-16 season.
The Open Pairs event in the MDDL is already named after him and is one of the few events being played this season.
The funeral is on Tuesday, March 15 at Torquay Crematorium, with drinks back at the Keyberry Hotel in Newton Abbot.
