FIREFIGHTERS in Bovey Tracey are still on the lookout for people to join its crew.

Bovey Tracey Fire Station is seeking to recruit ‘enthusiastic and committed individuals’ to join its crew.

‘We are actively seeking someone who is able to provide day cover during weekdays and weekends, although some flexibility can be accommodated’, a spokesperson for the station said.

Bovey Tracey Fire Station is located off Marlborough Terrace.

Most of Devon’s fire stations are crewed by on-call firefighters.

On-call firefighters do the same emergency work as wholetime firefighters, but they can also have other jobs too.
