A DRIVER has admitted he used a mobile phone while driving in Newton Abbot.

Victor Andrade, aged 51, of St Marychurch Road, Torquay, pleaded guilty to using the phone while he drove on Kingsteignton Road.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court adjourned the case to July 7 ‘To consider if there are mitigating circumstances (including exceptional hardship) for not ordering disqualification.’
