POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a caravan was stolen from the Dornafield area near Newton Abbot.
On their Facebook page Newton Abbot police say the thieves must have towed the van through Ipplepen
The theft is believed to have happened between 8.15pm and 8.45pm on Friday, March 24.
The police say: ‘It’s believed that the caravan was towed through Ipplepen by a grey 4x4 before striking a bridge near to Broadhempston where it was abandoned.
‘If anyone has any CCTV, dashcam footage or other information regarding this theft, please contact Devon and Cornwall police on 101 quoting 50230068858.’
