ROAD closures remain in place following a collision on the A38 this morning that saw a drivers sustain minor injuries.

Police were called at around 7.40am on Friday, May 30, following a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A38 near Newton Abbot.

‘It was reported a vehicle collided with two HGVs parked in the layby causing it to roll’ a spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said.

Road closures remain in place while recovery is ongoing.

A driver suffered minor injuries.

National Highways say to expect delays of up to 30 minutes.

There is around three miles of congestion.
