THE HUNT is one for musicians to join the newly-formed Dawlish Town Band.

Band leaders are hoping to encourage wind and brass players to join the ‘light-hearted’ group.

A spokesman said: ‘We're still on the lookout for anyone that can play any instrument.

‘We are looking for enthusiastic players.

‘If you play a brass or wind instrument or are a lapsed player wanting to return and are looking to join a light-hearted, friendly adult band.’

Rehearsals take place on Friday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm at the Masonic Hall in Barton Terrace.
