With a packed public gallery, Teignmouth Town Council gave a unanimous ‘no’ to the depositing of material dredged from Exmouth Marina at sea, either at the Sprey Point disposal site or by reopening the old sewage disposal site PO050.

Earlier a small demonstration had been held outside the council’s Bitton House HQ against the dumping.
