DAWLISH Scouts has a thriving membership with more than 70 young members in its group aged between six and 18.

We have a fabulous team of leaders who make this amazing opportunity possible for the local children.

Right now we are looking for new leaders across our team. Leaders are primarily needed within Beavers (six to eight years) and Cubs (eight to10).

You don’t have to be Bear Grylls to join us, nor do you need to have been a Scout in your younger years.

All training is provided and the other leaders are on hand to help and advice you within our Dawlish team and the wider Scouting community.

This opportunity would be ideal for someone looking for experience of working with children, developing and running activities alongside a team of already experienced leaders and helpers.

Sessions usually run for one to one and a half hours each week in term times. A DBS check is required which the Scout Association will pay for.
