A BRITISH fashion retailer has opened in a new store in Newton Abbot’s Market Walk.
The clothing company opened in 12 Market Walk on Saturday, May 9, having moved from Newton Road Retail Park.
The mayor of Newton Abbot, Councillor Colin Parker, cut the ribbon welcoming customers from 10am.
Chief executive at Cotton Traders, Nick Hamblin, said: ‘We are delighted to be relocating in Newton Abbot and to mark the occasion with a visit from the local mayor.
“We pride ourselves on producing high-quality clothing that is both affordable and timeless and look forward to welcoming the local community to shop our latest collections’.
Founded in 1987 by former England national rugby union team captains Fran Cotton and Steve Smith, Cotton Traders specialises in leisurewear.
