POLICE are appealing for information after a man was located with serious injuries in Newton Abbot this morning.

Emergency services were called to Halcyon Road at around 2am on May 9 after a man was found in the road with multiple serious injuries.

The man, aged in his 20s, has been taken to hospital where he remains receiving treatment.

A spokesman for Devon & Cornwall Police said: ‘Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and how the man came to sustain these injuries.

‘We are appealing for anyone with information, or who witnessed anything that may assist us, to please get in touch.

‘The road remains closed at this time while enquiries are ongoing.

‘Anyone with information, including dash-cam, doorbell or CCTV footage, which may assist our enquiries, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 73 of 9/5/26’
