THIS intrepid bunch took to the waters last week, undeterred by inclement weather.
They’re all members of Dawlish Warren Life Saving Club, who man the beach each summer on bank holidays and Sundays.
They normally take the annual Christmas dip on Christmas Eve, however, club secretary Alex Lovell said: ‘There was so much going on the week was too busy for some members so we moved it forward.’
The club was founded in 1966 and has been providing cover since then. Its members are as young as eight and as old as 80. Training takes place every Sunday as well as additional sessions when qualification courses are running
