A CHRISTOW mum, who was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer, has begun pioneering treatment in Germany thanks to a fundraising campaign which has raised almost £30,000 in just 20 days.

Kim Jenkins, 33, was originally diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in February 2015 when her daughter Miya was just three months old.

Despite 12 weeks of chemotherapy and a gruelling mastectomy last year at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, former swimming instructor Kim discovered a lump in her armpit in May, just as she and partner Tom Halliday were planning their wedding.
