A CARE company that has more than 20 years of experience serving residents in Devon has relocated its offices to Newton Abbot.

Devon Home Care, which provides personal and domestic care services for people in their own homes in South Devon, has moved to Devon Square.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in May, Devon Home Care had been based in St Marychuch before moving to Newton Abbot.

The Devon Home Care team officially opened its doors to its new office on Friday, April 10, with Newton Abbot mayor, Cllr Colin Parker, cutting the ribbon.

Cllr Parker said: ‘I offer my congratulations on this exciting opening - it is a significant milestone.

‘And one that reflects, not only growth, but a continued commitment to the community that you serve.

‘Care is not just a service, it is a vocation and Devon Home Care has clearly demonstrated that in abundance’.

The service that was to become Devon Home Care began more than twenty years ago by husband and wife team, Trevor and Shirley.

Claire Jennians, Trevor and Shirleys grand-daughter, became company director in 2024.

‘I am very proud of the Devon Home Care Team,’ Claire said.

‘Every day they bring not only care but comfort, companionship and a sense of belonging to our growing number of clients, but always with that personal touch that means so much to each person we call upon’, Claire added.
